Happy World Water Day!

Today, our students from classes 6, 7, and 8 participated in a rally to spread awareness about the importance of conserving water.The event was a huge success, with our talented students showcasing their skills in singing, dancing, speeches, and quizzes! We’re proud of our young champions for taking the initiative to make a difference! Let’s pledge to save water and make every drop count!

Biology Project

A field-based biology project was launched in campus in July 2024, with a view to orient students to understand and appreciate the biodiversity around them. A presentation was made by the students, highlighting the results and outcomes of the project.

UKG Oats Presents

Hansel and Gretel Our young learners from UKG Oats staged a captivating adaptation of the classic tale, Hansel and Gretel. This timeless story follows two brave siblings who, with their quick wit and clever thinking, outsmart an evil witch and find their way back home. Through their journey, we are reminded of a valuable lesson: never trust strangers, no matter how friendly they may seem. With their impressive performance, our UKG Oats students brought this beloved tale to life, entertaining and educating us all.

Unity in Understanding

A Timeless Tale Foxtail Class 2 presented a captivating skit, ‘6 Visually Impaired Friends and an Elephant’, highlighting the beauty of diverse perspectives. Our young performers delivered a confident and captivating show, bringing this timeless tale to life with their energetic and expressive acting. This thought-provoking performance reminded us that everyone’s viewpoint is unique and valuable. By embracing our differences and combining our insights, we can gain a deeper, richer understanding of the world around us. We’re incredibly proud of our talented students for their outstanding performance!

Our talented 2nd standard students from Finger Millets presented a captivating play, “Anansi and the King’s Drum”. The story revolved around the enchanting drum sound that gathered animals, and our young performers showcased their exceptional skills, proving their talent and entertaining the audience!

In a unique learning experience, our 6th and 7th grade JRC students participated in a training program at Annai Arul Hospital. Under the expert guidance of Ms. Sheeba, Nurse Manager, our students gained hands-on experience in healthcare and community service.

International Women's Day

On International Women’s Day, we hosted a grand celebration that was met with enthusiastic participation from our Class 4 students. The event was a wonderful opportunity to recognize and honor our female staff members and akkas, who were proudly presented with tiaras in appreciation of their contributions.

First Aid Training Program

Our children from JRC participated in the first aid training program conducted by St .Theresa Girls’ Hr. Sec. School. They had a unique experience at the first aid training! They observed with curiosity, participated and interacted with enthusiasm, and were amazed by the ambulance demo. They left with new skills, confidence, and a better understanding of emergency medical services.

Botanical Exhibition

Our budding botanists shine! Class IX students participated in the Botanical Exhibition conducted by the Department of Botany, MCC. Kudos to our young explorers for their enthusiasm and curiosity in the world of botany!

Web of Life

Rangoli can be highly beneficial for kindergarteners as it helps develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, concentration, and cultural awareness .

Tamil Sangam competition

Our students shine at the Inter-school Tamil Sangam competition held at Boaz School! Our talented team won prizes in EVERY category, bringing laurels to our school. Huge congratulations to our dedicated team of teachers and students!

76th Republic Day

Our school proudly celebrated its 76th Republic Day with a vibrant array of cultural programs! The ceremony was graced by our esteemed Principal, Dr. Saira Banu, who hoisted the national flag.

Pongal celebration

Our school celebrated Pongal with great enthusiasm and fervor! The festivities were filled with exciting activities, including: Kollam competition that showcased vibrant designs Kavithai and Katturai competitions that highlighted literary talents Cultural activities like mesmerizing songs, dances,skit, Silambam, and pot-breaking Tug of war for teachers that brought out their competitive spirit! It was a joyous celebration that brought our students, teachers, and staff together!

Bird Walk

The students of the Bird Watching club had their third ‘Bird Walk’ on 10.1.2024 at the Vedanthangal bird sanctuary. A total of 35 species of birds were observed, many of which were in very large numbers. Children also enjoyed drawing and painting of birds. It was a learning experience for our students

GOLDEN VICTORY!

We’re thrilled to announce that our school’s PET, Ms. Dhanalakshmi, played a key role as Assistant Coach and Team Manager for the Tamil Nadu Volleyball Team! The team participated in the SGFI 68th National Level Volleyball Tournament and secured the GOLD MEDAL! Congratulations, Ms. Dhanalakshmi and the Tamil Nadu Team! Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork have brought pride to our state!

Class 12 Farewell - 2025

12th farewell 2025 , On February 21, 2025, our institution bid a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing batch of twelfth-grade students. The ceremony, held on our school premises, was a grand success, filled with nostalgia, laughter, and tears.

The event began with students sharing their cherished memories and experiences from their time in school. Teachers also took turns reminiscing about their time with the students, highlighting their growth, achievements, and the bonds they had formed.

As students and teachers shared their stories, the atmosphere was filled with a mix of emotions – happiness, sadness, and gratitude. The ceremony provided a platform for everyone to come together, reflect on the past, and celebrate the journey that had brought them to this moment.

As a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication, departing students received gifts.

As the students embark on their new journey, we wish them all the best for their future endeavors. We are proud of the individuals they have become and are confident that they will make a positive impact in the world.

Global Warming Awareness Program

FROZEN FRACTALS

Global warming is emerging as the biggest threat to mankind and all the other living things on Earth. Scientists have said that we cannot stop the process, but we can slow down the pace at which it develops and reduce its impact, by acting wisely. The future generation has to be fully aware of the adverse impacts of global warming. With this in mind, a play and choreography under the banner ‘FROZEN FRACTALS’ was performed by the students of classes four and five to create awareness among the young minds.

World Music Day

Starting as an initiative of the Ministry of Culture in 1982, the Fête de la Musique has become a nationwide musical holiday every June 21st and a permanent part of the cultural calendar. Campus school commemorated this day by inviting Thiru S. John Bharati as the chief guest. He brought with him some of the little known musical instruments and demonstrated how they can be used. It was a fascinating experience as some of the old Indian instruments such as the ‘Bulbul tara’ and instruments made of bamboo were seen and its unique tones were experienced by many for the first time.

MCC Campus School Football Team

What an incredible evening for MCC Campus School! Our Under-17 football team played the finals against Nagalkeni Government Higher Secondary School and dominated the field with a brilliant 3-0 victory! 🎉 With Gideon scoring one goal and Magesh netting two, our team has officially earned their spot in the State Level!
The match kicked off with a heartfelt prayer led by our Principal ma’am Dr. Saira Banu, setting the tone for an amazing game. A huge round of applause for all the players for their hard work, dedication, and success!
We also extend special appreciation to Mr. Sharma, whose exceptional coaching and guidance have been pivotal in this achievement.

Empowering Young Humanitarians!

Our school’s Junior Red Cross members learned valuable skills on Hand Washing and Soap Making, promoting hygiene and self-sufficiency. To take it a step further, they generously donated a First Aid Box to our school! Kudos to our Junior Red Cross team for their dedication to community service and health awareness. Gardenia

The first week of October is celebrated as a Wildlife week. For the first time, it was celebrated in Campus School.

The students of classes VI, VII and VIII presented a programme – GARDENIA ( a play and dance) to highlight the need to live harmoniously with nature and wildlife.

Class-8 Mysuru Experience

“Just returned from an incredible 8th grade trip to Mysuru!
We explored the city’s rich heritage and craftsmanship by visiting:
A silk saree weaving factory, where we saw the intricate process of creating beautiful fabrics A sandalwood factory, where we learned about the art of extracting oil from this precious wood The zoo, where we spotted fascinating wildlife The railway museum, where we delved into the history of locomotives The stunning palace, a testament to Mysuru’s royal past Tippu Sultan’s tomb, a glimpse into the region’s complex history The serene Golden Temple at Kushal Nagar, a peaceful oasis And, of course, no trip is complete without some exciting shopping! Consumer Day Celebration ‘24

The students of Commerce under the guidance of Ms. Beula conducted the consumer day celebration on 9^th of August 2024 to emphasize the importance and rights of consumers, it also enabled the students of commerce to gain insights on the nuances of trade, entrepreneurial skills and the language of business, it also gave the students hands on experience and kindled the passion in their minds to become future tycoons. Myriad competitions were organized by class XI & XII for students from class IX onwards, the day was filled with sparks of knowledge that shone everywhere in our campus and variety of food stalls to relish. With the profit made out of stalls, prizes were given to the winners as a token of appreciation.

Francofiesta 2024

On the 6th, August 2024, 32 students of Classes XI & XII of the MCC Campus Mat.Hr.Sec.School had taken part in the “FRANCOFIESTA 2024”, at the Loyola College, Chennai. They had participated in seven different events (La Voix de Rossignol, Toqué sans fourneau, Charadinettes, À vos pinceaux, Pot-Pourri, Épelographe, Air-Terre-Mer) based on French Vocabulary. It was a great exposure and opportunity. It was indeed a challenge too as they had competed with almost 25+ schools from the various districts of Tamil Nadu. The students performed their best and won medals.

Court Visit

On 4th October, the 12th commerce students visited the district consumer court.An orientation session was led by senior lawyer Mr. Senthil Kumaran, who gave an insightful overview of the court visit. His junior, Ms. Mega, coordinated the briefing and arrangements. The session was highly engaging, and the students had the unique opportunity to meet the judge for a 10-minutes interactive session.

Career Guidance - IAF

Mr Kani Kumar, IAF inspired the youngsters to pursue a career in the Indian Airforce and provided guidance on the process of applying for online registration for Agniveervavu 2025, on 09 July 2024.
